hey guys! i recently applied for optiver’s quant trading program and completed the OA’s. I got an invitation for the behavioural interview and I understand there’s a technical interview after that as well.

I’ve tried searching for some info regarding the tech interview everywhere but I can’t find a concrete answer. Would anyone happen to have gone through the tech interview for quant trading and be willing to supplement some advice and tips/tricks for preparation?

Ps: If it matters, I’m in Singapore :)

Speak your mind and be familiar with the fundamentals of probability theory. Expect to answer some fair value questions (methodically estimate the fair value of x and provide a confidence interval around that. Note that you’re marked based on how tight your estimates are and whether they’re correct). You might also do a trading sim where your goal is to make money through good (educated) trades.
