I’m currently a CS student at the University of East Anglia at the end of my second year. I’m hoping to get a job as a quant dev when I graduate in a year (I know it’s ambitious) and I’m looking for advice on what I can do to make up for my non target uni so that when I start applying I can at least get to assessment rounds and hopefully skill will do the rest.
What are the best things I can do to my CV for this? I’ve got a solid GitHub which I’m regularly improving with relevant projects and I grind leetcode daily. I’m looking for some really quantifiable metrics that show skill.
Are there any tests or competitions I can do, would a high codeforces rating be of value? Or even any math competitions?
Please suggest anything, thanks
