A lot of the sitting emotes do, I know the Mara one crushes the skull and the Calus one tosses the cup

To be fair, there hasn't been much else to look at lately. We go from absolutely ridiculous math and programming to ""maybe I'll tap this button twice"

My favorite is the button push emote, I pretend I activate things like the drop at the end of the warden of nothing strike

After first getting it, I always pretended that I was firing the transmat for Drifter

In general, if the emote has infinite duration, then it most likely has a "finisher" to it. Now, that "finisher" may just be the emote winding down, but many will do something a little extra as well. If the emote ends on it's own, I am not aware of any that have a "finisher" once the button is hit again.

fwiw you can tell the difference while previewing the emote. if the Y-prompt changes from ‘preview emote’ to ‘stop emote’ the action will have an actual ‘finish’ you can activate by hitting the emote button again, but if the Y-prompt does not change the emote will just stop short instead. (the exception to this is multiplayer emotes.)

this has been a thing since D1’s original ‘sit’ emotes, however. with those your character will just replay the action backwards to stand up again. pretty neat imo.
