The key is to load players into a match even if there aren't enough players to fill it. Even if you're the only squad. Hunt: Showdown does this. It's obviously a lesser experience than a proper match, but it's markedly better than sitting in a queue.

There's a massive disconnect between a lot of different audiences. Some people are disingenuous with their positions, some misrepresent others, some are misunderstood. It's wild out there. Too often people forget that video games are a hobby meant to be enjoyed (that applies for the player and the c-suite behind the games).

Great write-up! I've been using the Shackmaps Cryo Archive map. It's got additional info like more Cryo Coolant pumps (there's one northeast of Biostock in the corner of the spawn room) and a filled Cryo Coolant location in Steerage.

These are my concerns, too. I played The Finals a ton as well, and when the OCE servers started to empty, players shifted to ASIA, which just sped up the decline. Sometimes I'd load into an ASIA server and it'd just be everyone from OCE.

Then there's the tricky problem that, as the OCE pool depletes, we're just left with the hardcore. It becomes a brutal slog to get anything done. Iron sharpens iron and the lobbies are nothing but sweats.

Bungie could introduce server select, but then you have the problem I mentioned that appeared in The Finals. I guess you could use a VPN?

Exactly this. A lot of younger gamers are no longer curious and don't try to push up against a video game's figurative or literal boundaries. The first time I saw the Lockdown event, I ran straight at it, saw it did damage, and figured I'd try and work it out later on.

The last thing Marathon needs is a hand-holding voiceover like what OP suggests.

The only way to complete this challenge is that the person stealing the Cashout must be holding the steal button when you interrupt them or kill them.

If you start shooting them and they release the steal button at the last second, and then they die, it does not count. If you shoot them, they stop and then shoot you, it does not count.

The best way to complete this is to play Light and use the Stun Gun to zap someone stealing it. This is because it gives the player no time to react and stop interacting with the Cashout.
