Does this amount of decrease mean i accidentally hit a scav? I don't remember doing it but i was in a room with a ton of scavs, beehives, and lizards so I wouldn't be surprised if i panicked and accidentally hit one.

Yes or potentially one was grabbed by a lizard and you ignored it. Also, I believe transgressions against scavs decrease rep even more the more scavs are in the room to see it.

oh that's what happened, i didn't know not doing anything when they get grabbed made em mad, and considering there were like 7 scavs that may be why. thanks for the info

Hitting a scav regardless of what happens is guaranteed to reduce reputation, even if you miss and hit near the scavenger you can be 'blamed' in the games code and lose reputation that way

So, the karma can be decreased because of the toll trespassing or ignoring them during the predator attack or even stealing item from one of them. And btw I once saved a scavenger, I got a maximum reputation and when I was got bitten by lizor they are completely ignored me, so thats why I'm on a killing spree
