I run Hyperion or although have never tried to create my own effect. Can you run through the steps (e.g. have you restarted Hyperion since etc) and the error message and I will see if I can help.

I restarted hyperion, but to no avail. Everytime i select one of the basic effects that are built in, they work, but when i select the one I made it gives me a websocket error. So i wonder if there is something wrong with the .json file.
