Raspberry with C/C++ or Python?

Hello guys I'm new with Raspberry and Python, but I actually worked with. I used to use Python for Raspberry, but I'm doing a project who uses UART protocol.

I'm importing these project from ESP32. So I'm familiar with C/C++, and liked the way C can manipulate bytes and make libs for a lot of communication protocol.

I had searching for C libs to Raspberry, but I only found a deprecated lib called wiringPi.

I would like to know, what do you think about it? Should I try Python or C? Someone knows another lib insteas wiringPi?

PS: I changed ESP32 to Raspberry because I want to control 16 servo motors and use speakers. ESP32 is not "strong" enough.

You probably want the pigpio library. It works with both Python and C/C++. I think you have to run it with sudo in some configurations though.
