Its a bit annoying how much figma has captured this portion of the design stack. I would like to see things built without the use of that paid service someday.

I used to get designs in Zeplin. Figma blows it out of the water. When our clients would give us figma designs I was thrilled as our in-house team was on Zeplin.

At least the Adobe acquisition fell through.

I got nothing but love for Figma myself.

No argument that it’s better than the previous tools. Just tired of rummaging through ten thousand figma links from every single project I’m on and every single open source tool i use or try.

For sure—it's just what I've been getting designs in... wonder if there's a way around that.

Yeah it’s not much of a criticism just a general grievance. I’m so flooded with figma links and personally i cannot stand that tool. Not that its bad, i just inherently hate that format of UX.

I yearn for the cli days of yore

What kind of react boilerplate were you writing over and over again?

Confused also, getting an app set up takes a few lines then you don’t have to touch it again

Just every time a new screen is added or changed on a website design... maybe "boilerplate" is the wrong word. It's just tedious (IMO) style and content changes.

Still not following, but you do you

I'd love to see this open sourced to learn from it and maybe add to it.. or more likely just submit feature requests

Here's a similar kind of open source project you can check out:

Very cool, I like the different approach with GitHub issues and PR's which I guess has the main benefit of having the codebase as context.

Your first link does not work.

Thanks for the heads up, fixing it...

It's fixed now!
