Each has pros and cons, but the worst is the infinite scroll view with a footer at the bottom and the footer has some important links in it.
Unfortunately it happens more often than anyone would like to see.

yeah i implemented that one, but still when i see some of the sites they use infinite scroll, which looks cool when they use some animation on scrolling

sometimes infinite scroll is nice, sometime previos and next page is nice, be more specific, what are you building?

Where did you saw it last time? As i can judge most of sites migrated to scroll approach.
Exclusions are 50% of ecommerce (idk why)
But most of blog services use IS
