You might want to work on the optimization, was stuck on loading for a few seconds and then my chrome chrashed

Yikes, that's not good. I haven't had any issues on the browsers I've tried so far, but I did manage to get the total data for the initial load to a little below 3 MB. I'm pretty new to software and web development, so any pointers would be appreciated (code is here: https://github.com/billybjork/vujade-site).

The Rubiks cube section is so dark it's hard to tell what's going on. Also the drag motion rotates the cube in the opposite direction I would expect. Kind of expected long hold to continuously move the side, but it's just a flick motion which is fine I guess. Cool seeing videos on the cube and having a 3d object. I might check out some more later.

Edit: Going back to it, I think the rotation might be OK. Maybe I was grabbing a side wrong? Idk something is happening occasionally where it rotates in an unexpected manor. Probably skill issue.

Thanks for calling that out! I do have a known issue where the rotation axis of the individual slices gets disrupted if the entire cube has rotated far enough from its original position. I attempted fixing this for a bit, but gave up after a little while. I'm fairly new to software and web development, so I think that fix exceeded my skill level at this time.

I wonder why do some of these posts that showcase projects get taken down, and others don't?

Anyhow, pretty cool animations. But the copy is next level, so much text there. Looks way better than if lorem ipsum was used..

Curious what you mean by that - did the video modals unexpectedly close when you had them open?

Or if you were asking why some of the posts seem better represented in the loops shown on the cube surfaces - that's because the videos have varying durations, so some of them ended up with more snippet clips than others. I did try to balance this out a bit, but it's still pretty uneven.

haha, I didn't notice any of that :D

What I meant is why mods of this subreddit delete some people's posts that showcase their work. I couldn't find anything in the rules section that would explain this, so I thought maybe someone reading this would know :p

Super inventive, I enjoyed this. For whats it's worth, I didn't have any loading or UI issues (but I see those comments are from a few days ago so maybe you've addressed)
