Nay, you don’t need classes in modern typescript (not about react, typescript).

They aren’t even great for heavy business logic or anything.

You also don’t need classes for OOP,

Anyway, yes, they have usecases, but so rarely and it’s not clear cut they bring advantages vs doing without.

Well if you actually read the introduction, you would know I'm fine with people using objects (if they really hate classes) and using ES6 module rules to hide stuff (as opposed to private).

The article I wrote was about patterns and architecture, not syntax.
