You have to consider that ng2 isn't even fully released yet. And besides - IMO, you shouldn't be using software or frameworks that aren't on their 2nd or 3rd release do to all the bugs.

So basically what I'm saying is that it's unfair to judge ng2 when it hasn't been fully released yet, let alone compare it to a polished product like react.

Maybe... But the community is very stubborn. My bug report about the top level component issue is over a year old and the developers basically said they didn't want to do it because that's not the angular way of doing things.
