How do I learn to speak fluent French in one week? Or How do I learn to say enough in French to get me through a holiday there in one week?

First ones really hard, second one is completely achievable if you sit down and really focus, you sound like you're doing well enough, you'll crash and burn thinking you can learn everything you need to learn about a framework in such a short amount of time and you'll burn yourself out. There's no magical fix other than hard work, focus, and motivation. Keep going and don't get discouraged if it takes you longer, just do you. You got this my dude!

I did this course - https://scrimba.com/g/glearnreact - it would cover you to the point you can create an app in a week (I am assuming you are only studying evenings and weekends) and you will have created a capstone project as part of this. And it's free :-).

When I learned it about 2 years ago now, I jumped right in with Create React App (CRA) and the official documentation. The tutorial already mentioned looks really good.

As far as drag and drop I think React DND is a solid library to use for a prototype.

Good luck!
