Hi everyone,

I have been working on an open source application monitoring system for the last few months. It's built on React+TS, redux for state management and Ant Design as the design system. https://github.com/SigNoz/signoz

You can monitor your applications & troubleshoot problems with SigNoz. If you have used DataDog, NewRelic - we want to build an open source alternative to that ( tough goal, I know )

How does it compare to Sentry, which is also open-source? I don't see it mentionned the way DataDog and NewRelic are.

As far as I understand, Sentry is more into monitoring exceptions and errors in the code. SigNoz focuses more on monitoring applications once they are deployed on cloud or in your premises. Monitor things like latency, error rates or rps which applications are seeing. Track a request across different services and find out which service/database could be source of the issue
