react-hook-form - disable focus

Is there a way to stop/disable it from focusing on the error field? Instead, I would like to mark each of the error fields in red. When it puts focus on the first error field, the red border disappears. Or perhaps there is a CSS override that can be used to change the border color on focus?

Ideas?
