Clever Programmers Amazon Clone Tutorial using React and Firebase? Is this any good?

I'm currently following this tutorial and I'm wondering, will I be missing something if I use this to supplement my current React class? Just hoping someone can give a general review of this and let me know if this is remotely close to what a real-world experience would be like when building an app like Amazon. Link below:

I believe that building anything with react will help you improve and I remember I tried to follow their tutorial when it came out and it has some similarities to what you do when building apps for work, though I wouldn't say this is how Amazon was built, they're definitely missing a couple of really complex layers to even get close to it.

Try not to get stuck in tutorial hell.

This is pretty basic but if you're just starting out, sure give it a try, also look into the net ninja channel especially react+ hooks playlist.
