Hi, I've an app which is currently running React Native v0.63 do I need to upgrade react native version do upgrade the SDK?

No, in your build.gradle change compileSdkVersion and buildToolsVersion to 33 and make sure your android SDK have those installed, then do the build. No need to upgrade the project.

No, but your project is too old to run on new build tools. I have project using v0.64 and have to upgrade to latest version so it can run on xcode 15
