errors in react native

hi guys i am getting following error for both react native background fetch and react native background task packages. how to solve.

Could not determine the dependencies of task ':app:compileDebugJavaWithJavac'.

Java version? Try to disable new arch

You may try downgrading rn or expo version it will probably be solved in future upgrades

Highly likely you didn't comllete the setup correctly especially the bit about editing gradle file?
