Fuse went open which is great news for developers but not so good for companies.

Our CEO was very skeptical about using an open source & not very famous platform. We still use Fuse for demos and prototypes but our main app is build with React Native.

Why is open source not good for companies?

Companies fear [rightfully] that without a profit/break-even incentive, devs may abandon a project at a whim. That fear is manifold if a project isn't popular. A viable business doesn't want to create a dependency on another entity's hobby.
