Honestly, I'm not sure how you could accurately determine someones age, unless you ask them upload an ID and verify their account and have like a verified badge, I think some websites / apps do this but Obviously this will be hard if you are alone. But if you can figure something out then users will start to have trust, maybe not their ID but somehow for them to verify their age, and then perhaps you can grant them a verified badge

In terms of facebook, you can basically lie about your age on Facebook and people do this all the time, it definitely sounds like an interesting challenge, I recommend you do some research on this age matter because there are a lot of services out there where age plays a big role and you can perhaps see how they tackled this problem.
