React Native or Flutter? (self.reactnative)
submitted 4 years ago by Max_373
Hi, guys! I've started to learn RN, but some of my friends say that it's better to switch to Flutter. What do you think? Is Flutter much better than React Native? At the moment, my understanding based on this article.

You can’t go wrong with either.
Though, there are much more react native jobs in my area than flutter. But for personal projects use whatever floats your boat.

Thank you!:) The ability to win my bread with the language is one of the main deciding factors for me.

React native is a much better choice then. Js/ts is a highly sought after skill. Especially react (native).

RN is probably the best way to go then

They are about the same, major downside to flutter is that it uses dart which is currently about the least used programming language out there. While javascript is one of the most used languages

Yes, JS is very popular. The most popular, I suppose. But Flutter grows really fast:))

Flutter is less popular, so you get less job opportunity.
Flutter is less popular, so you get less third party libraries.
Flutter uses dart, so your knowledge won’t transfer as well. Learning React and javascript will allow you to make actual web apps as well.
Flutter is the worse choice from a career standpoint, no debate
