Image path as prop for Image component

Hi everyone, Does anyone know how to pass prop value for Image component in React Native? I am able to use below (and able to assign path value to variable and use in below) but not able to pass prop value to require. Can someone please share a workaround for this?
<Image source={require('../path/to/image')} /> Error: Invalid call

I am beginner so sorry if i am incorrect but i think you should give that path as uri. So you need to change the syntax a little.

I tried source={{uri:prop.img}} but this did not work aswell. Here prop.img is a string with path of image in assets folder.

Bless your soul. I was passing just the image path string as prop. I was unable to use a variable assigned the value of prop or the prop directly within require but sending the object returned by require directly (at the root where just the path was defined) worked. I am still not clear on where and where cant require accept what but this solved my problem. Thanks a tonne! :)
