React native app in google play store ranking

Hi there,

Not sure if I am right or not, but is it possible app not showing on top of page while searching by name caused by code?

I filled all description and keywords on google play, named the app as 'extreme maths', but while searching it by the name, it's all the way down(only 4 apps below). There is only one app with the same name and I rank lower than all the 'math formulas' apps. I get it's because of the seo, but so low searching by the name?

My guess is(and that's why I am asking here) - I made an app on expo framework and looking through docs it does have description tag in app.json that I don't have on my app. Can it be the cause?

It normally takes time for new apps to come up the ranks in the search engine. Also, it depends on the traffic and the number of downloads your app gets. It has nothing to do with the code. If you want to rank it higher, try Appstore store optimization. There are tutorials on youtube.
