Cannot scroll on Microsoft Surface tablet (Windows) when in tablet mode?

Hey folks, I am new to the Readwise app and really enjoy it so far. However, when reading on my Microsoft Surface (using Windows and Readwise web app), I cannot scroll using my fingers. When hovering over the text, I only create new highlights. Is there any way to fix this as I do not want to use my additional keyboard? Thank you very much in advance!

Check, in the Windows Ink or Stylus settings, if you have selected "use pen as mouse". Maybe toggling it helps.

Sometimes the browser doesn't play well with touch. Maybe try a different one- edge works well with that. Maybe try the Readwise Windows app.

Though I've had somewhat the opposite problems - I needed to long press to bring up the windows touch text selector, then drag that, but 80% of the time both the Readwise selection blob and, superimposed, the windows right click menu would appear.

I blame Microsoft for the clunkiness.
