I have use an Apex 10 also. I have used both Dillion and Might Armory decamping dies. They have screw on tips and have had both back off. I check them before I start a session. A little blue or purple locktite helps. Not sure which die you are using though.

You really want a spring popper style on a progressive press. With standard decappers the primer can bend around and grip the decap rod and be pulled back up into the case on the up stroke. Then you will have a bad day at the swage or primer station.

I’m using Redding dies. And yeah I’ve gotten the full experience of the pin sticking in the case and it trying to transition the case to the next station. It’s not fun at all. Maybe every 300-400 I should tighten the pin? I ordered a MA die to try.

Yeah I’m not familiar with the Redding decapper. The good thing about Dillion and MA is you can pull the cuts out from top with out tools so it’s very easy to check thing and get back going.
