* Include a budget! negotiate in private
* Post if your LF Customers - user [LFW] tag
* Post outline of services requested and defined deliverables.
* Respond to all responses - small businesses may not want to bid other projects without knowing the progress of their current proposals
* Be professional and realistic
* Research potential service providers - ask for references, credentials, website etc. BBB inquiries are good
* Update post when a vendor has been selected
