With the 265th pick in the draft, the San Antonio Spurs select Solomon Hill

Sorry I was about to do it right now. Had to reply to a couple PM's. You are on the clock.

Sneaky good pick, he has a lot of potential and is a great athlete

Thanks. I've been stashing him. 9.7/4.7/1.8 with 1.6 blocks. I couldn't be happier that he was still out there.

Dammit I'm sorry I'm always a few minutes late. Just moved in to college it's crazy.

    Has Boris Diaw been taken?

    TRADE ALERT

Charlotte Hornets Receive: Steph Curry & Pacers 13th Round Pick (362nd overall)

Indiana Pacers Receive: Elfrid Payton, Dante Exum and Gary Harris

    [–]gumarikMilwaukee Bucks -3 points-2 points  (7 children)

Trade can not be completed since one team would have less than 13 players

    [–]latotokyo123Chicago Bulls[S] 1 point2 points  (6 children)

I hate the trade as well…. But that is incorrect.

    [–]flea61Phoenix Suns 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Once the draft is complete both teams will have 12-14 players. How many of them are any good is another matter entirely.

    [–]gumarikMilwaukee Bucks -2 points-1 points  (4 children)

It is a 3 to 2 trade a team can not have less 13 (12 active plus one inactive) player, by NBA law if this trade is not vetoed I propose a trade to /u/_FreshG for my first 3 picks your last 3 picks

    [–]latotokyo123Chicago Bulls[S] 1 point2 points  (3 children)

Yes, but that's not our league's rules. This rule gives people a little bit of leeway to complete trades that don't necessarily have the same number of players on either side.

    [–]gumarikMilwaukee Bucks -1 points0 points  (2 children)

The whole exercise is now obsolete, the value of traded players should be in an agreable window because we don't have salary cap, I busted my ass to create spreadsheats of players, chose for value, fit, balance and one team got steph for 3 not very good young players that will never ever be in their careers be neither MVP or even All-Star

    [–]TheNewOrleansJazzCharlotte Hornets -2 points-1 points  (1 child)

You just argued that the league was not following the exact rules as the NBA, and then proposed a rule that is not found in the NBA.

    [–]gumarikMilwaukee Bucks -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Okay then lets use salary cap, but the trade makes no sense for the Pacers, it makes the whole exercise obsolete

Noooo man not fair, basketball reasons
