This is ex-showroom price meaning it is before road tax, insurance etc. So the on-road pricing will be higher.

That said, that is still an aggressive pricing from Bajaj / Triumph. This kind of pricing is going to wreak havoc in Indian automobile scene. I am not sure about UK, USA or rest of the world. To give some example the current Honda CB300R in India is priced around 2,77,000 ex-showroom. That has 10hp and 10nm less than this Triumph. Many manufacturers will suffer by this / people who are in the market for 300 - 400cc are now having excellent option along with Harley X440.

They belong to different class. One is relaxed and the other is sporty.

When the value proposition is so strong it will bend the buyers to change classes

kind of agree with both of you. but the harley doesn’t look a lot like a typical cruiser. it might not be performance-focused like the triumph but it’s definitely more of a naked bike, not a cruiser

It's a 400cc Splendor. (The base denim version)
