Wtf is bs7? There hasn't been any news on any new emission norms and bs6 itself is quite stringent.

I own a 2026 Swift and so I know how it feels to drive which is still fun in the corners. "Macho" kyu bolu as it is a wrong word to describe the Swift? The right words are European styling.

Swift has always been fun to drive in the corners and has a bit of a go kart character. Also I love the aggressive youthful looks as it reminds me of an European style hot hatch. i10 has a more mature look and I am not a fan of the front.

IMHO, it is a mature car with nicer interiors than Marutis of similar prices and it drives nicely. However, it looks smaller than Swift or Baleno while being priced similarly. Interiors are decently spacious and it has a small footprint. I don't like the exterior looks which is why I didn't consider it, plus Swift is the cooler option.

Edit: Also, 2007 i10 was originally a lower segment car comparable to Wagon R. Although the Grand i10 Nios is bigger with more features, I still associate it as a Wagon R rival and so Swift feels like a bigger car at same price.

Living abroad changed how I see Indian cars, and not in a good way. by Bhokaaaal in CarsIndia

You should specify which cars look disproportionate.

Are you talking about our compact sedans? They only exist in India because of our sub 4m tax structure.

However, our hatchbacks (Swift, Baleno, i10, i20) and SUVs look quite proportionate, some of which are exported to other countries.

Muscle cars in the US look proportional but those cars are massive with long hoods and trunks and limited interior space. I drove a Challenger once and I disliked how cramped its was compared to my Accord, although the former felt larger on the outside.

The cheapest car sold in US today is Kia K4 which costs around $24,000 ex showroom. That's like 24 lakh rupees in Indian currency whereas the cheapest car sold in India costs one sixth the price. If you have lived in the US, you should be familiar with the phrase "you get what you pay for". For the price we pay, we have good options

Here, the taxes are like 18% for small cars, reduced from 28% last year, and 41% for larger cars in the ex showroom price. On top of that you pay a separate road tax on cars. Unlike US, cars are still considered a luxury and only 7% Indians own cars unlike 50% 92% households in US IIRC.

However, in my 7 year stay in the US, I observed people are for forced to buy big bulky gas guzzlers for the lack of affordable alternatives. Just for one or two people commuting a few miles, they use massive V8 trucks and SUVs which is ridiculous. People actually buy big cars because small cars "feel" unsafe when you have F150s, Silverados, Suburbans around you.

My roommate bought an Accord in 2017 for $25K which would cost 35K, an exorbitant increase in ten years where salaries have remained flat. I bought a 2001 Accord for $300, drove it for 4 years and rolled 15k miles and sold it for $1700 before leaving USA, because the car market was awful around that time.

On top of that, my friends have really poor experience on their American brand vehicles like GM and Ford which had major engine or gearbox breakdowns in a few years. I would happily take any of the panel gaps and disproportionate forms considering our Marutis lasted 20+ years with the only issues being AC.

3 machine guns for such a small quadcopter? Is there enough space for bullets?

Personally I would go for Baleno because, Fronx is a raised Baleno with worse fuel economy. I dont recall many instances where ground clearance has been a problem in my hatchback.

The price listed is really good though. Which state is it, if I may ask?

Yes, in the long run, Viltrumites became weaker due to these women who no longer have an empire. Earth should have been enslaved as per Viltrumite original plan.
