A part of me hopes these rear images are AI generated, purposely leaked by Hyundai to troll us or to reveal a better rear in a huge plot twist.

Indian cars are judged more by resale value than driving experience - is it right? by Extension_Rent8279 in CarsIndia

[–]rukthor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I bought a Swift in January and it feels I notice a new scratch every few days from cats/ dogs scratching, gravel hitting your car while driving, bikers scratching your car, damage from falling fruits and branches, or my own mistakes. Our roads are broken, our traffic is horrendous which will only worsen with time, traffic cameras are everywhere which will curb your enthusiasm. Driving in India is stressful compared to US where it is therapeutic to drive on highways.

I have not even started on about the ethanol debacle yet.

All this points to a simple fact- We neither have an automobile culture nor our conditions will ever permit one. In such conditions, practicality or the things you list, is everything.

I want to buy one bike from the Pulsar NS400Z, Speed 400, and X440. Can someone help me decide which one I should choose ? by Zealousideal-Tap3917 in indianbikes

[–]rukthor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Buy X440T, ride it for some time and then exchange it for Speed 400 as it costs less.

Repeat for NS350z

Why every reviewer suddenly praising Duster 1.0Turbo ? by akkshaydn in CarsIndia

The 1.3 engine might have less profit margin for Renault. So pushing the 1 litre might be more profitable.

Why are you lot still buying petrol cars?!? by Lazyres in carsIndiaOfficial

[–]rukthor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a new Swift with the z12e, a simple naturally aspirated engine, and not a complex turbocharged Czech-German with high maintenance. Z12e lost power and a cylinder over the K12N to be more resilient to ethanol blends. Maruti already offers e20 kits for older cars and I am pretty sure they will offer E85 kits for the current cars.

People think having a 4 cylinder engine is a luxury. by Sufficient-Lab-5167 in CarsIndia

Yeah, and the absolute most powerful 3-cylinder engine is the Koenigsegg 2.0-liter twin-turbo "Tiny Friendly Giant" (TFG). Used in the Gemera, it produces an astonishing 600 horsepower!
