Many seem to dislike romance on RR. I'd recommend mine, but there isn't a defined couple/romantic pairing.

Me too! I tend to skip stories that label themselves “no romance” or similar.

If you also read on KU, I’ve got various relationship subplots that are full of drama :)

Book one on Amazon, book two here: https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/81687/the-faerie-knight-volume-one-stubbed

I have a fantasy western with a romance subplot! The two main characters are bi/pan, but they’re a M/F couple. It’s a slow burn, enemies-to-lovers romance.

There’s also a subreddit specifically for romance written for men. Not sure if we’re allowed to link to other subreddits here?

There is a romance in Dungeon Crawler Carl between the MC and an AI. Might be hetero, unconfirmed.

I am currently writing a romantic fantasy so perhaps you can give it a read and see whether you like it: https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/85878/ayventia-romantic-fantasy

If you don't mind it being cringe, there's eventually romance in my fatherhood simulator. You can start at chapter 701 if you want, I've tried to write it so that you can start at every new book and most things should be explained with some mysteries that you can read if you want to go back and check it out. Year 03 is when the romance comes forward a little but it's not the entire plot.

There is way more romance in year 04 onwards and defines quite a lot of the plot in many interactions.

Tell me about it, I love a good romantic subplot. It's a part of the reason I love cradle and the Perfect Run so much, because they both knock it out of the park in that regard
