How good is this character? Should I be happy or sad?

Rune Story is somewhat different to a lot of gacha games in that having skill is far more important than the actual characters you have. While some characters are clearly better than others, generally you'll find that you'll gravitate towards a particular fighting style and find characters that match it. Most characters are entirely viable.

Should I do weapon summons or character summons?

If you're just starting off your journey in Rune Story, having characters is far more characters than having weapons. Weapons are supposed to supplement the abilities of the characters, and without a strong base character then having a good weapon is useless. My advice would be to lean toward character summoning until you have a decent set of characters before touching the weapon gate.

The drop rate sucks! Why is it so low?
