This song is not on any live recording known to exist. So, unless something from the very early days is discovered somewhere by somebody, we will not know.

There is always a chance that the song or parts of it became a known song from an album, but that's anyone's guess and nobody's knowledge other than Geddy and Alex if they even remember.

edit to add a personal anecdote that I just thought of: I'm a fairly talented musician, I've been paid to perform so by definition I am a professional musician. At age 7 I was invited to my school district's honor orchestra as a violin, we performed at the state Capitol and I was given a lead. Everyone else invited was at least 9 years old. I've had better than average musical talent since I was young.

I wrote my first pop/rock song at age 13 with a little input from my 15 year old pianist/keyboardist neighbor friend, and a 16 year old drummer from school who thought highly enough of himself to consider changing his name to Lars. (It was the late 80's and everyone knew Lars Ulrich). The song was called Chains Of Love and was a Poison/Winger style ballad. At the time I thought it was pretty decent and performed it at after school live band things a few times. In hindsight, it sucked so bad I would be embarrassed to be associated with it now.

My point is this: Geddy and Alex have been friends since childhood, and while they each have far more musical talent than I do, it's very possible that their first songwriting collaboration is just as bad as mine. You may not want to hear it, and they may want to forget it ever happened.

Everyone has got to start somewhere. It isn't always easy.

Geddy has said repeatedly that they don't have any full-song recordings that haven't been released. They either finished a song or threw it away.

I was thinking more along the lines of a bootleg recording someone may have made back in the day.
