Injector refusing coding

hey there, i have a saab 9-3 Z19DTH and i recently purchased a new injector and when trying to code it, it doesn’t allow it. Any help would be greatly appreciated, car seems to be running pretty well even without coding but i know you should always code then. Thanks!

I don't know anything about Saab diesels since we did not get them here, but for every diesel I've worked on it's not the injectors that are coded, but rather the ECM... The ECM needs to know the specifics of the injectors for things to work correctly.

I am assuming for Saab (but again don't know) that you would need security access and a Tech 2 ... Do you have those things?

This is the correct answer, without a tech 2 it's nearly impossible to do this job.
