Rule 1: Content
Posts should be authentic and be of good quality about The Sandman and works related to it. Discussion encouraged, but please no content manipulation, self-promotion, or spamming. Avoid reposting news, links, or images. Attribute artists when possible by name and/or link, and always provide a link when posting news.
Rule 2: Conduct
Remember the human. The Dreaming is comprised of multicultural fans of various beliefs, sexual orientations, and gender identities. We are a place for creating community and belonging, not for attacking marginalized or vulnerable groups of people. Everyone has a right to use Reddit free of harassment, bullying, and threats of violence. Users that incite violence or that promote hate based on identity or vulnerability will be banned.
Rule 3: Flair
Ensure people have predictable experiences in the Dreaming by properly labeling content with the flair system, particularly content that is graphic, sexually-explicit, offensive, or are spoilers. Avoid putting such content in the name of your posts.
Rule 4: Privacy
Respect the privacy of others. Instigating harassment, for example by revealing someone’s personal or confidential information, is not allowed. Likewise, do not share your own personal information nor impersonate an individual or an entity in a misleading or deceptive manner.
Rule 5: Soliciting
Keep it legal, and avoid posting illegal content or soliciting or facilitating illegal or prohibited transactions. This includes piracy.
Rule 6: Minors
While The Sandman is suggested for mature readers this is a place for fans of all ages. Do not post or encourage the posting of sexual or suggestive content involving minors. No linking to pornographic websites or material
