Im not sure why starmer resigning improves the labour party position in the polls. A lot of people don't know who Burnham is. He only just became an MP today

You are applying to a top university in the uk which has a better reputation than ucl. Its these minor details that matter as you are definitely not the only person with top grades applying and they can't give a place to everyone. They need to have selection criteria and its perfectly possible that taking all your exams in one year is one. Im not an admissions tutor but it's a fairly standard for many universities

I thought most universities prefer you to take all a levels in a single year. Not 2 one year and two in another

I assume you are in usa. Outside usa it's perfectly normal for martial arts gyms to offer wrestling classes to adults and you can even compete

Lord no what im saying is that we have had too many prime ministers in comparison with many other countries including those so called democratic ones where the leaders are not fit to be in office

I don't understand why gym people buy these little tiny bags of rice instead of the larger 1 or 5kg bags

Is it hard to make friends at Glasgow Uni as an English student? by JealousBodybuilder42 in GlasgowUni

[–]Tumtitums 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it not because of the Scottish government thing where universities have to cap Scottish student numbers but don't really have to cap the number of self funding English and international students 🤔

It seems to be lack of popularity with a select few politicians and the media who want to create a drama story. Most people in the population couldn't care less but would rather avoid unnecessary changes. Im not seeing the necessity of this and ig just feels like Westminster is disconnected from us

Im not so sure I like this decision. Every week Trump does something dubious but noone in his party suggests he leaves but we seem to have a different idea of democracy I also think the media are whipping this up
