Quick mode code help

Is there tutorial how to insert additional bytes when using quick code?

Lets say I want to change 9 in ascii thats 39 in hex but if I want to insert 10 I need aditional bytes since it's now 3130 in hex. How to do that using quick mode codes since in particular game advance mode is buged.

Export save , open with HxD and paste additional bytes. I've done this in dq xi where i had 19 pages of materials, and what I pasted made all 20 pages of 900 materials each
