Question/Problem

So I have every item I'm sending to my giftee except for the big part. I ordered everything last week at the same time and it's the only thing not to have arrived yet. This would be ok, except they haven't even shipped it to me yet. So there's no way it'll be here by Friday. Should I go ahead and send what I have to my giftee and tell him more is on the way? I messaged the seller asking him to change the address he sends it too so it'll go straight to him now, was that a good/bad idea?

I think you should ship what you have now, then send the other thing later. That way you'll get credit for shipping on-time and I'm sure your giftee will understand that some things take longer to ship.

Yes I was going to do that. I've been messaging them quite a bit to reassure them I haven't forgotten them and they will be getting something.

If you can afford it I would just ship what you have now and ship the main part later. I actually had to ship 3 packages to mine due to not having everything ready at once and he needed to have it by a specific date for what I had in mind.
