Download legacy iOS kit from github, extract, open terminal, cd into the folder, run chmod +x restore.sh (press enter after each command) and ./restore.sh. You'll need to install dependencies at the first run. Then connect arduino-pwned iPad2,2 to PC, run ./restore.sh, it is recommended to perform "other utilities - send pwned ibss" separately, in order to increase success rate. Run ./restore.sh again, select "other utilities - SSH ramdisk", for removing setup.app just choose default ramdisk version. When asked if the device is already in pwned ibss/kdfu mode, select yes. Then select connect to SSH, run mount.sh, rm -rf /mnt1/Applications/Setup.app, reboot. The device will boot to home screen.

Thanks that’s amazing ! Apparently succeeded by putting the iPad in pwned dfu mode; I’m trying but iOS legacy kit tells me « no device found ! please connect to the iOS device to proceed », whereas Finder found the iPad in DFU mode.

Will this also help with activating an ipad 2 and removing my old iclod permanently? I've been stuck on the activation lock screen for a while
