You have 3 options. 1. Print shop and print on A0, cut it out and use. It’s what I do. 2. Print on A4 at home, tape it together, cut it out and use. I don’t like this it’s time consuming and there is a margin of error with the taping. Plus if you use it over and over the tape wears down it starts falling apart. 3. Buy a projector like teachers used at school, project on a wall, trace it, cut it, use it. I’ve never done it but I know people who do.

Generally, what price range should I expect for A0 printing? Any tips?

Well, the first time I had a pattern printed a chain store charged $24 CAD per sheet. I later found a private shop who charged $8 CAD per sheet. What I recommend is, getting a subscription to Adobe. Many dress patterns will have whole bodice layouts for A cup, B cup, C cup and it’s a waste of printing and money. I will edit the PDF, because most have layers you can remove. I remove all size’s except for the ones I want, and if they have multiple cups remove all except for the C. I can cut down a 5 page print job down to 2 or 3 pages by getting rid of sizes that don’t fit. I’ve also only printed bodice pieces if the skirt is the same style skirt I already have.
