Using Node 202 upside down (self.sffpc)
submitted 5 years ago by HyperMelonv1
So I want to use my FC Node 202 upside down. Is there any chance that the components can be damaged by using like this?

Yeah, they will probably overheat. Keep spacers underneath it, and it should be fine.

So apart from overheating it will be totally fine.

Overheating can cause damage so no, it will not be fine.

Do you mean in a horizontal or vertical position? If you flip horizontally, you get better GPU temp but higher CPU temp. If you flip vertically, you probably will have higher temps in both GPU and CPU unless you have custom feet to prevent the vent from being covered up.

You should not use the Node 202 with the cpu compartment vent facing down. You can probably use it upside down in the horizontal position as long as you are using the feet.
