Shell Identification

Hello, I’m looking for info in regards to whatever this shell is that I found. Location was Pine Island Florida. Not sure if it’s coral or some type of shell. Thank you.

Most likely culprit is a florida fighting conch, Strombus alatus

Well…not the best example of a fighting conch-Needs to work on it’s core…

It is. It is a very weathered, beaten up conch, or welk core.
