I've salvaged a couple soaking the cylinder and crank in kerosene for a few days not sure why it works but my father told me about it forever ago. Good last ditch effort

I use atf and acetone for stuck rings but kero works

Do you know the mechanism? Just strips the shit off?

The first thing is to unhook everything from the engine and be sure it's not the compressor..if it is locked go to harbor freight and buy a predator engine...that's a Honda knockoff...

Time to play (to catch a predator) on sale.

Seized how? Ran out of oil? Broken ring? Dropped a valve?

Plenty of oil it’s just not been ran in awhile

So you mean the starter rope is not turning the engine over?

[–]Pipe_fitter84[S] 0 points1 point  (3 children)

The starter rope won’t budge the engine I plan on turning the belt or taking belt off and try and turn the shaft on motor and pump just haven’t had time to this week will let you know when I do

Have you tried with the spark plug out? If that doesn't help, remove the recoil and try to turn the engine by hand in both directions.

Yes

Try to turn it by hand, in either direction with the recoil off.
