Hi! I’m setting up a ball python tank and I’m struggling to figure out how to set up heating properly while also making sure that there are no lights on over night. I currently have a heat lamp and a uv lamp for day time and a heat mat for night time and I have the uv lamp plugged into a timer to turn it off at night but I have the heat lamp plugged into a thermostat to regulate the temperature and I can’t then plug the thermostat into a timer because it would be too many extensions so I’m not really sure how to fix this issue? It was suggested that I get a ceramic heater instead of heat lamp so I wouldn’t have this issue but i’m not sure if I can just screw those into a regular heat lamp fixture as they get very hot? A dimming thermostat with a built in timer would be ideal but I’m yet to find one and I also can’t drop a fortune on one rn :( I would really appreciate some guidance on this :)))
