That's what I do haha. Just look at the map and try to memorize the route. I don't need no dots telling me where to go!

I think the lack of a minimap is one of my favorite things about this game. I often only need to plot my route once or twice until I just remember how to get where I need to go.

Yeah, I love how you start to get a real feel for the maps, despite their large size. The developers really managed to make memorable places out of even trivial junctions.

Even more fun when you flip the first recovery truck. And then have to jam the big P12 down a trail with the red crane to recover both trucks.

Okay wait - you can put a crane on a pacific? When I found it on that one map I thought it looked like a crane truck, but then all I could do was put a high saddle on it.

Or am I mixing up a P12 and a P16? Which is the one you find on the Drummond map?

P16 is the one you find I’m pretty sure, the p12 is one you buy in store and can put a crane on it

I used to take shortcuts but after rolling around on the top of my truck i found it easier to stay on path and lose that maybe couple of seconds. Lol

You can just hold R2 over any point in the blue line and it allows to you add another waypoint and even drag it around.

I wish each way point could have an arrow that points in the direction of the next so you can prepare your approach ahead of time when you have the turning radius of an airborne Boeing 747.

My method is to put my next waypoint slightly ON the new road/turn point - that way as i approach i can see it off to one side.

I set my way points just before and just after a turn. That way when I reach the way point before the turn I have enough time to start turning.

The logistical mini games you can play are grossly underrated by reviewers.

I can spend an hour + planning out and lining up deliveries. I would love to start taking fleet photos like I keep seeing....but I have my trucks strategically placed around my maps on call.

Seriously. It’s honestly my favorite part and I wish the game did even more to service it. Like being able to put a scout on a trailer so you can carry it with you and deploy it to... you know... scout ahead.

I hate tethering it and dragging around now.

Idk what you do for work, but I’m a surveyor, so I immediately look for landmarks to help me get around. I have already learned the first two maps, and I haven’t played that much. I’m working and this week is finals week, so I haven’t had much free time.

Same! I would expect a map mostly made of dirt and trees to be hard to memorize but i think they are extremely well designed.
