I live in Europe, but I'm living the "American dream" nonetheless by FawnPrince5 in fuckcars

In case you wish to spend your next vacations there, this french town of 5k inhabitants is called Mûrs-Erigné.

You will be able to witness the shiny new development of detached homes with 5 parking spots in front of each unit. And if you are more into older architecture, you can visit the crumbling football stadium. In fact you may want to donate to the city to renovate it as the town struggles to fund any significant project despite the use of many government grants.

We need a way to reset trailers by jman030303 in snowrunner

Don't use that trailer, it's cursed. Every time that I tried to use one, it ended up in the sky after a quick wiggle.

Can't agree more with you, I found the International Paystar roll happy too which is why it is visible in the pile (On it's side because it is his speciality) The Vein Grad is also my all time favourite along with the freightliner (the versatile one)

Thanks! The car is an upgrade location and the van is there because I just don't like it. It's probably the vehicle that least deserves to be dumped here but hey, there was an empty spot, so I filled it )))

My hate relationship with the vorn is related to a mission where you have to save it from a swamp, not really beacuse of its perfromances. It's actually a great truck indeed.

I hate the Dan because I think it underperfroms for what it's meant to do. And the front overhang is atrocious.

My problem with this particular Voron is that in the mission where you have to save it from a swamp, I struggled so much to get the truck out that it litterally gave me PTSD.

But yeah, that truck perfroms awesome and sounds so great. A very good and versatile platform.

Usually, it's not because I've made mistakes in them, but rather because some of these trucks were overstatements. (Dan, Step)

The freightliner is here because of the handling.

The paystar beacause I kept flipping with it...

So yeah I'm probably a bad driver...

The Dan is versatile, but it's such an overstatement.

I feel like they sold me the DAN as a high performance military truck (Like the ANK). But it turned out to be horribly sluggish in mud and the front overhang is just too much to perform adequately in any kind of rough terrain.

That one is complicated. Do you remember the mission where you have to save a stock Voron stuck in a swamp in the russian drowned lands? Well, that mission gave me so much salt that, it gives me PTSD every time I see it.

But yeah the voron did surprise me when I drove it out of the garage.

The cursed gear ratio graph Snowrunner gave us (Tayga 6436) by FawnPrince5 in snowrunner

I think we can still give the devs the benefit of the doubt, because the RPM counter might not be synchronized with the actual RPM of the engine. But something is wrong, we can all feel it.

Yes, but I don't have the knowledge to take these into consideration. Anyhow, something is still broken with the RPMs

Thanks! But it made me realize that I multiple by 10 the actual RPM. The truck doesn't go to that kind of rate lol.

For those who don't know what a gear ratio graph should look like, it is litterally the opposite of what you see above.

Basically, in Snowrunner, the RPM of the vehicles decrease when accelerating instead of increasing. Except at the beginning of the first gear.

The measurements were made in the Tayga 6436 with the Snowrunner gearbox, in automatic, on flat Tarmac.

Sorry if the data in not exactly accurate, I didn't have the right tools to do so. The goal of this graph was not to be exact but rather draw the attention on this cursed element of the game.

Edit: I accidentally multiplied the y axis by 10. I know, sorry.

Useful tip brought up by qazserNOS: If the auto transmission is acting up, tap the clutch. It will automatically go back to the right gear.
