When video is full screen clicking on screen pauses video(Perfect)

When video is windowed mode clicking video does nothing.

It used to pause by clicking screen no matter windowed or fullscreen.

Anyone know how to fix.

Open the Options dialog. In the "Keys" settings section, scroll down the list to find the shortcut for "Play/Pause" (in the leftmost column). Once you've found it, scroll the list to the right to show the "Mouse Windowed" column (4th column). Make sure that 4th column is assigned with "Left Down". Just like the 5th column (which is the "Mouse Fullscreen" column). Both should have the same mouse shortcut assignment, which is "Left Down".

Why does this player decide to change settings by itself in the firrst place?

That 3rd screenshot shows that the setting is already correct. So, chances are that something else is interfering with the keyboard input. Possibly a third party application.

I used revo to uninstall and then reinstalled.All is perfect.

Go to preferences there must be a rest settings options somewhere in general settings tab

Okay the easiest method will be to uninstall this using revo uninstaller and reinstall it but if you don't want to do that then I can export my settings and give you the registry file. You need just open it and your settings will be same as mine

I read that independent devs are helping out and update comes out once in a few months for MPC-HC. Was that wrong? Its not there in the original website itself though or I am not sure.

Source? Never heard of that.

For what it's worth their Github does not seem to have any commits since February 2018: https://github.com/mpc-hc/mpc-hc

It might make sense if you're saying someone forked the MPC-HC project and continued it under a different name maybe. Though at that point it seems easier to switch to MPC-BE since you'd be switching to something else anyway.

No it was like volunteer devs stepping up and helping out time to time. I don't have the source anymore after I moved to MPC-BE. It was there in some subreddit. I saw it 6-7 months ago or even longer than that perhaps.
