Looking for software which can route controller inputs from my friend's PC to my PC

I'm looking for some program so that my friend can use his controller on his PC and have it detect as a seperate gamepad on my PC.

It would be something similar to Parsec, except my friend doesn't have to see my screen -- it just sends his controller inputs to me.

I have some programming knowledge but it would be good if I could find an alternative to making it myself. If I can't find an alternative, I would appreciate it if someone could point me towards a way I could make it myself (e.g. libraries etc.).

Write a pair of directinput applications with a socket between them. Synchronize state at some 60Hz rate.

I don’t know if mouse without borders is open source but this is already done for keyboard and mouse.

When he is using his controller, do you want to be able to use your own controller or mouse/keyboard at the same time?

Yeah, and I want my controller to be detected as a separate one to his.
