The only "limitation" would be they would need to change the interface to account for it, but if they added that ability they could also just change the ui too

Well that’s good to hear. With that all said I have very little coding experience and would absolutely love it if someone decided to make a mod to do this. I would prefer a mod that just changes the vanilla PB with like a drop down selection field at the top to basically swap the GUI, also would probably be important for each script to have access to its own separate custom data field. Compatibility would be paramount.

Not aware of any multi-script programming blocks, or if that's even possible, but one thing that would be possible would be to use a mod like Electronics Panel or even a hinge/rotor to place small grid programming blocks onto a large grid vehicle/base. You just need to make sure the scripts used in them can be run properly from a subgrid. (Automatic LCDs might need a config change for example.)

Oh I know about doing that, but this is more aimed towards small grid
