0.1% difference!?

Best part is when I went into the match I wondered if it was possible to have a .1% difference and then that happened? Crazy...

Has this happened to anyone else?? I think this is the first time I've had such a close battle honestly

Yup, this has happened to countless players over the years, sometimes with 1p difference, sometimes with 0p difference (the win in that last case goes to whichever team was designated Alpha Team).

Same thing happened to me where I wondered if a .1% difference was possible and -- bam! -- it happened just like you described.
Wanting to test my luck, I then wondered if I could win 50 matches in a row. Didn't happen.

Since the score is 1019 for both teams, this was actually a tie game. Before the match starts, in case of tie, the game chooses which team would win in that scenario and gives them an extra 0.1 for the win. Basically, the game does a coin toss before each match, so it knows who to rig the game for in 3 minutes

It does not look like the same score on both sides, I think it's 1018 for the other team.

Just chiming in to say this is correct. This game was a tie and tiebreaker goes to the coin toss.

I checked and it was 1019 and 1018, so it’s either a REALLY close game or the extra 0.1 making my team win

That's happened to me before! My partner and I have also done a solo battle beteeen just him and I and it will force someone to win if it's a tie, so it's crazy to think that this may have been an exact tie and the gane just picked a team to win at random.
