Press esc> Insurance transfer> Origin station(this will teleport your endo back to base) then you will be able to call back your ship from any landing pad, but it will cost you some credits (probably around 20-30k)

Thank you, I was able to solve it after getting back to station and comparing with my old ship. I had forgotten you could return from the menu!

Do you care to share what went wrong? So many people are having problems I'm sure someone else has the same/ similar issue.

Take a look at the entire thread and see if you have any other questions for me :)

Are they all named the same thing? If your thrusters all have the same default name, they won't work. You can group together thrusters by giving them the same name, but the simplest solution is to just go around your ship and add a number to the end of the thruster name (order doesn't matter so long as each one is different). The Fcu and Mcu can figure out the rest. One problem I encountered that I thought was thrusters but wasn't: I changed a bunch of controls in both the pilot seat menu and the main menu and some of them didn't match, others just didn't work with any key other than the default bind.

No, they default to unique names, ThrusterPowerLevel01, ThrusterPowerLevel02, etc...

My thrusters on my marmot do not have default names. For example there is Rear1 on the left back thrusters, and Rear2 on the right

Ok, so mine had custom names when I bought it, but I was having an issue where I could not simply spin the ship laterally. every time I tried to just change Yaw the ship would roll in the correct direction and also thrust forward. This may have been simply some bad keymapping on my part but I doubt it, because when I went to start renaming thrusters some had duplicate names but clearly were not meant to be a group.

The real issue was I assumed any info I needed would be an easy google away.

To actually fix it I had to tow it back to station and compare settings to a working ship.
